No Figure Drawing Saturday, May 26th

Looks like we aren't going to be able to find a model for today. Chalk it up to everyone Memorial Day plans, I guess.
I'm really sorry about the late notice. I'll work to make sure it doesn't happen again and that we have a steady, organized figure drawing Saturday!

The Times, They Are A-Changin'

Hello there, figure drawing fans! Important information: after tonight we'll be changing our figure drawing schedule a bit, just to shake things up. We'll still be having the Monday night session (from 6 to 9), but we're moving the Wednesday night session to Saturday afternoon (from 2 to 5). We'd love to see you there. Can you think of a better way to spend your Saturday afternoon? I certainly can't.

But what about tonight, you say? Will there still be a drawing session? Oh yes, there will be. In fact, we'll be having a special portrait drawing session tonight, May 2nd, from 7pm to 10pm. So not only will you get to look at the lovely, smiling faces of the TAD KCMO students during session breaks, but you'll get to draw them during the session as well! Isn't that what you've always wanted? Of course it is.

A couple weeks ago some KC pod members went out plein air painting by Lake Jacomo in Missouri.  Got some great paintings and pretty good photos of our adventure.

EXPLORE TAD!

Hi, everyone! This is Brent Watkinson from the KCMO Pod sharing some student work with you from all points and career paths of TAD. Beginning November 7, 2011, we will be giving you glimpses of TAD classes. You can sit in on some short classes and see how effective TAD classes really are!

This "try-it-before-you-buy-it" event is called "Explore TAD."

Explore TAD will take place Monday, Nov. 7, through Friday, Nov. 11 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm CST. Participants will be able to attend each class "live" in our interactive, streaming classrooms. Actual TAD students can either watch all classes live in real time or watch recorded versions of each class on-demand at any time! Registration is $75 per applicant, and is open to participants both domestic and international.
